I wanted to let you know about a great event happening on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Pineland Farms in New Glouceser, Maine - the Cancer Community Center's 4th Annual Hit the Trails Walk, Run or Stroll. This is a fundraiser of the Cancer Community Center, located in South Portland, Maine, they provide a comfortable, friendly place where adults living with cancer, and their families and friends gather to build social and emotional support as a complement to their regular medical care.
There is no charge to participate in Hit the Trails, just as there is no charge for Cancer Community Center participants to attend activities and receive support needed as they or a loved one are dealing with cancer.
Please support this great event by walking, running, strolling or donating to support another walker today!
